The vision for the Old Hopkins Road (Gaddy) House and surroundings was to build the most environmentally friendly and beautiful house possible in the most socially responsible way possible.
The house has now received the following four certifications:
• U.S. Green Building Council - Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for Homes v4, Platinum
• Living Building Challenge - Certified Net Zero Energy Building (NZEB) v2.1
• Living Building Challenge - Petal Certified
• Passive House Institute US - PHIUS+2015 - PHIUS+ Source Zero
• Living Building Challenge - Certified Net Zero Energy Building (NZEB) v2.1
• Living Building Challenge - Petal Certified
